Abstract

Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) represents a growing public health concern among urban Indian youth, yet cognitive mechanisms underlying its persistence remain underexplored. Cognitive fusion, the tendency to become rigidly entangled with thoughts as literal truths offers a promising but untested predictor within Acceptance and Commitment Therapy frameworks.
