Refund Policy for ‘International Journal of Interdisciplinary Approaches in Psychology” (IJIAP)

Thank you for considering the “International Journal of Interdisciplinary Approaches in Psychology” for your publication needs. We strive to provide a seamless and satisfactory experience to all our authors. After the author’s paper is approved for publication in “The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Approaches in Psychology”, it enters the registration phase. During this stage, authors are required to pay the publication fees based on their specific author category. It is compulsory that at least one author of an accepted paper completes the registration process to ensure the paper’s inclusion in the Journal’s publication.

The paper publication fees include:

  • The standard fees cover the publication of a complete Research Paper Online (a maximum 5 authors are permitted)
  • A digital copy of the certification of the paper publishing (Single copy with all author’s names)
  • A digital copy of the confirmation letter pertaining to the paper’s publication in IJIAP (Paper wise)

Maximum Authors allowed for a Single Paper Publication

A maximum of 5 authors are allowed in a single paper to be published.

Terms and Conditions for the hardcopy request

We will send a single hard copy of the certificates upon the request of the corresponding author only. Please review all the details in the softcopy of the certificate to avoid any errors in the near future. If you find any inaccuracies, please notify us within 3 days of receiving the email regarding the certificate. Once, the shipment of the hardcopy is done, we would not be able to make corrections any further.

To proceed with the hard copy, we require your address details. If you have provided the address, we will assume the address is the correct one.  If in any case, the provided residential address is incorrect and the shipment has returned, further processing will not be possible. If you still wish to receive a hard copy, a fee of 600/- (Indian Residents only) will be applicable. 

The dispatching process for the hardcopy will take a minimum of 1 month and may extend up to 2 months (only during the time of heavy load), all certificates will be dispatched between the 25th and 31st of every month.

Refund Guidelines

We understand that some situations may arise where a refund is requested. This refund guideline outlines the terms and conditions for obtaining a refund for any transaction related to our journal:

  1. Eligibility for Refund:
  • Refunds will only be considered for payments made to the “Internal Journal of Interdisciplinary Approaches in Psychology.”
  • Only the person or entity that made the original payment is eligible to request a refund.
  1. Valid Reasons for Refund:
  • Duplicate Payment: In the event of accidental duplicate payments, we will issue a full refund for the additional refund.
  • Service Unavailability: If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide the promised services (e.g., publication processing, indexing or archiving), you may be eligible for a refund.
  • Payment Errors: Refunds may be considered for payments made in error, such as overpayments or incorrect billing amounts.
  1. Refund Request Procedure:
  • To request a refund, you must submit a written request within 30 days of the original payment date.
  • The request must include the following details:
  • Full name of the payee
  • Contact information (email address and phone number)
  • Payment date and transaction ID
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Supporting documents or evidence, if applicable
  1. Refund Processing:
  • Refund requests will be thoroughly reviewed, and a decision will be communicated to you within 14 business days of the receipt of the refund request.
  • If your request is approved, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, otherwise mutually agreed upon.
  1. Refund Amount
  • The refund amount will be determined based on the specific circumstances of each case.
  • For duplicate payments and payment errors, the full amount of the excess payment will be refunded.
  • In the case of service unavailability, a pro-rated refund may be provided, considering the portion of the service not delivered.
  1. Non-Refundable Situations:
  • Manuscript Processing Fee: Manuscript processing fees are non-refundable once the editorial process has commenced.
  • Publication Charges: Once an article is published, publication charges are non-refundable.
