THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COGNITIVE FLEXIBILITY AND SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE AMONG YOUTH

Abstract

The current study investigated possible gender variations in these dimensions and looked at the relationship between young adults' social intelligence and cognitive flexibility. While social intelligence is the capacity to comprehend, interpret, and effectively manage social interactions, cognitive flexibility is the ability to change viewpoints and modify thinking in response to shifting circumstances. The study involved 220 young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 (104 males and 116 females). Data were gathered using the Tromsø Social Intelligence Scale (Indian version) and the Cognitive Flexibility Scale.
