Raised in an era shaped by globalization, digital connectivity and heightened social awareness, Gen-Zs demonstrate an unprecedented engagement with social movements and conflict resolution initiatives. Equipped with digital literacy and immediate access to global discourses on justice, equality and human rights, they actively mobilize online and offline platforms to advocate for dialogue, inclusion and restorative approaches to conflict. Unlike previous generations, Gen-Z exhibits a heightened sensitivity toward issues of identity, intersectionality and social responsibility, positioning them as proactive agents of social harmony. Their capacity to leverage social media for awareness campaigns, grassroots organization and transnational solidarity has redefined the landscape of peace-building. By analyzing their participation in civic activism and reconciliation efforts, this study argues that Gen-Z is not merely inheriting peace processes but transforming them- reshaping mediation practices to be more participatory, inclusive and digitally informed in times of crisis and conflict.
