Conflict is a common phenomenon in communities where people differ in culture, religion, political interests, and socio-economic status. Effective conflict resolution mechanisms are necessary to maintain social harmony and sustainable development. Community dialogue has emerged as an important participatory approach that encourages communication, understanding, and cooperation among community members. This review paper examines the concept of community dialogue, its role in conflict resolution and peace building, and its relevance in social work practice. By reviewing existing literature, the paper highlights how structured dialogue processes help reduce tensions, promote mutual understanding, and strengthen community relationships.
