The present research explored the predictive and mediating role of mindful eating in academic performance and cognitive flexibility of university students. A quantitative correlational design was adopted to examine data from 200 participants (ages 18-25 years) via Pearson correlation, linear regression and mediation analysis. It found mindful eating was not significantly correlated with academic performance (r = -0.093, p = 0.189) and was not a predictor of it (R² = 0.008, p = 0.189)
