Abstract

The present study investigated the relationship between family resilience, optimism level and coping approaches. A total sample of 212 young adults (mean age = 21 years) completed standardized questionaries, including, Family Resilience Short Scale (Chow et al., 2022), the Revised Life Orientation Test (Scheier et al., 1994), and the Brief cope (Carver, 1997). The results revealed a positive, significant relationship between dimensions of Family Resilience and optimism. Furthermore, problem-focused coping was found to be positively and significantly correlated to all dimensions of Family Resilience.
