The current research explores the intricate relationship between altruism and life satisfaction among NGO Volunteers. Employing a comprehensive dataset, descriptive statistics and correlation analysis illuminate the relationship among key variables. Rooted in the altruistic attitudes prevalent in collectivist cultures, particularly among Indian NGO volunteers, the study investigates the impact of altruistic behaviours on positive affective states and overall life satisfaction moreover, understanding the gender difference. Incorporating evolutionary perspectives, the research aims to contribute to the understanding of how altruism fosters life satisfaction, providing a nuanced conceptual framework for further exploration and practical applications.
