Case Study Analysis: ADHD, ASD, and Hearing Impairment

Abstract

The current case study provides a detailed examination of an 18-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and hearing loss. In spite of having normal cognitive skills, the person shows distinct behavioural and emotional issues, such as repetitive speech, social anxiety, irritability, and isolation. Having been diagnosed with ADHD at age 11 and ASD at 15, his clinical profile highlights the difficulties in managing comorbid neurodevelopmental conditions. This research is focused on examining his behaviour patterns, investigating underlying factors, and suggesting therapeutic interventions to improve his well-being and alleviate his symptoms.
