Menopause signifies the natural end of a woman's reproductive phase, characterized by a year without menstrual cycles resulting from reduced ovarian function and estrogen levels. This transition can lead to various physical and emotional changes that affect overall health and quality of life. This study aims to find out how menopausal symptoms and coping strategies influence the quality of life of women during the menopausal phase. Therefore, the title of the research is ‘‘Influence of menopausal symptoms and coping strategies on the quality of life during menopausal phase.’’ The results of research by Achieving objectives using Pearson’s correlation analysis were employed to evaluate the relationships among the variables, such as menopausal symptoms, coping strategies, and quality of life. The result shows that in pre- and perimenopausal phases , psychological symptoms moderately positively correlated with positive coping strategies . In the postmenopausal phase, somatic , psychological, and urogenital symptoms moderately positively correlated with negative coping strategies. Also in the postmenopausal phase, psychological symptoms strongly positively correlated with psychosocial symptoms and moderately positively correlated with sexual symptoms . In the pre- and postmenopausal phases, urogenital symptoms strongly positively correlated with physical symptoms and moderately positively correlated with sexual symptoms . The study indicates notable relationships between menopausal symptoms, coping strategies, and quality of life during the menopausal transition. Moderate to strong positive correlations suggest that the deterioration of physical symptoms is frequently associated with heightened psychological and somatic distress, emphasizing the intricate and interrelated aspects of quality of life.
